Personally, I prefer ‘Ritual’ to ‘Spell’, as it tends to leave any manipulation, coercion or negativity out of the equation. For me, a Ritual is like an Affirmation, only it involves symbolic rites to assist you with your goal. ‘Spell’ tends to carry bad karma along for the ride whereas, Rituals, are much more upfront, open, honest and love-based. Rituals do not involve hurting anyone or sending damaging energy their way (negative vibes towards others is the goddess of ‘Good-Karma-Killers’!).
