On the flip side, the more educated amongst us are aware in the 21st Century – in this Aquarian Age – that having a profession in the Esoteric fields is on par with Counselling and Healing. So it shocks me (yes, an Aquarian can be shocked occasionally!) that, every once in a while, someone in the more mainstream Healing/Helping industries will condescendingly comment on the Esoteric industry I have chosen to work in, jump on their shaky soapbox, preach to me as if working as a Professional Psychic is some separate hocus-pocus show that doesn’t hold a light to ‘Real Work’, while flashing their mainstream credentials in my face. (*Quietly: as far as my career goes, Psychic work is just one part of what i do.) Anyway, after being momentarily floored… I’m like: Yawn!
In my case, I am the Waterbearer, pouring my waters of knowledge into blogs, readings, columns, the media… and I learn as I go – and from all I come close to – but sometimes, like all of us, I have to return to learn the same lesson again – or another layer of the same lesson (sigh!). I don’t profess to know everything, I don’t hold all the answers, but I certainly write from personal experience on some level. Who doesn’t?(!) Additionally, in no way do any of my blogs refer to specific people – we are all reflections of one another, so don’t be surprised if you ‘see’ yourself in them – that is part of what it is all about. My blogs are a result of situations I have been in at some stage, a culmination of various relationships over time, involvements with different people, or experiences I have had. Anything I write has to be something I have encountered myself, or I wouldn’t be able to write it from my truth. On the flip side, it is only my perception.
As the degeneration and decay take you into the ‘Underworld’ (the deepest, darkest realms of who you are, and that which you may have been projecting onto others or that outside of yourself), you will eventually see the Light and come through renewed. Whatever has become obsessive will be reborn and tweaked into balance.
