REGULUS STAR SHIFT – JUST PART OF THE POSITIVE!

Below is a question-come-comments from a respected blog-follower, Chelle, which i found very interesting & pertinent — my response follows:

Hi Kris, do u know much about the Regulus star? It moved from leo into virgo after 2160 years in Nov 2011 yay! n 1 day later the occupy movement began. I feel this regulus star has big influences worldwide. I know that being in the Leo spot for that long has caused all the greed around the world and the nastiness, but that is soon to change! Can you see everything falling apart? Things that held greedy businesses together? Sadly it affects the good people too like those losing their jobs. But all for the good in the end I think. With Regulus star in Virgo now, the focus is on environmental matters and people’s care and well being so a BIG yay for that! I think we won’t truly really really start to see the big differences until the babies born after 16th Nov 2011 grow up into adults. I feel a lot of the new 2011 onwards generation being born will be great people, not so many nasty people I’m hoping. I feel optimistic about our futures. Your thoughts on this? :)

Hi Chelle
Good question! Actually, I don’t find the Stars to have a major effect globally or personally – they may emphasise something a planet is doing, but not too much else. In 2011 Earth was getting use to Uranus’ move into Aries (after being in pipe-dreaming Pisces since March 2003), so that would have shaken up the status quo of things globally. I don’t see Leo as a greedy sign – maybe egotistical – meglomaniac-ish even – whereas, Virgo can be quite tight and bitter-tongued on the negative side. I prefer to leave the ‘doomsday’ readings to those who feel the need to go down that track, as i certainly don’t see things ‘falling apart’ globally, by any stretch of the imagination! Saturn in Libra can equal the opposite of fairness, and this would have reflected the sad job losses. Saturn is now in Scorpio, doing its job of ‘Pay-back time!’ – so the structure of things on the work-front should be pulled into line so the ‘little person’ gets a fairer go. Definitely like the idea of the focus being on environmental matters, but again, i see that as being largely due to Pluto’s tour through Sagittarius over the last few years – and now a Capricorn Pluto will calculate what needs to be done in cahoots with Saturn in Scorpio (the second-chance Sextile), and an Aries Uranus will get it done! stand with you in being optimistic about our future, and fully appreciate the angle you are looking at things from here.

POWER PLANET PLUTO: COMMAND RESPECT

Power planet Pluto’s wade through corporate Capricorn is peeling those in authority – the ones who like to push their weight around, for no good reason – from their plastic pedestals, and bringing them back to Earth with a thud! But not before they have had their inflated self-importance ground down into healthy humility. I don’t want to sound repetitive, but there is evidence of this hideous behaviour happening globally in numerous zones. And then take a look in your own backyard – it’s taking place right there in your personal world too! You can’t demand respect, you need to work for it to deserve it. Some serious ego-tweaking is on the agenda…

AQUARIUS LETS THE SUN SHINE IN – NO BULLIES ALLOWED!

The glorious Sun has just entered Aquarius which means the channels are open for humanitarian group consciousness to make a mark, for equality to get another political plug and for your uniqueness to shine through. On the same page is Mercury in Aquarius, on standby to relay the ‘Aquarian way’ through various forms of communication. It’s about saying it how it is, relaying your truth, refusing to be fazed by those who choose another beat of drum, ducking those who judge you because you dare to not follow the flavourless crowd… The cosmic door is open to speak your mind, have a voice, refuse to be intimidated…

Additionally, the Sun rules Aquarius’ polar opposite sign, Leo, so there would have to be some extra humour, generosity, creativity and fun in the mix. One would think. But on the flip side, the challenging qualities of Leo, such as the attention-seeking, egocentric, dominating, condescending and vain tendencies need to tempered – and in a group situation, that is a common recipe for bullying! Why should anyone have to tread on eggshells for fear one of the Bully Prefects will take something you say on a one-dimensional/open-to-interpretation forum personally and have their meek followers rise against you…? So on this note, watch out for a stream of sugary-sweet, pious, ‘spiritual’, holier-than-thou, self-righteous, butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-their-mouth, wannabe gurus passively-aggressively bullying in group situations – making you the scapegoat for their shadow side… it’s a current trend that needs to stop now! So do you feel alone in a crowd…? Hell yeah!

GOVERNMENT SHIFTS – MUTUAL RECEPTION SATURN & PLUTO

So Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently doing Scorpio; while Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, is getting cosy with Capricorn – and both are making a nice Sextile to one another. This is called a Mutual Reception in Astrology, and what it means in lay-people terms, is that the intensely emotional qualities of Scorpio are being put into line by Master Saturn; and the rather rigid tendencies of Saturn are being softened up and transformed by Princess Pluto. What does this mean for us globally & personally? Generally speaking, all things governmental, institutional, establishment-al, constitutional, insurable and seriously structured will be torn down and reborn – fingers-crossed for the absolute better of all concerned! Anything dripping in medical, psychological, taxable, birth-and-death-relatable, sexually-oriented will get a once-over reality check and work and fit better into our individual lives. Personally, I’m putting out to Ms Universe for Medicare to slap Veterinary fees on their books…

While Jupiter is Retrograde  & Squaring Neptune, there’s an overall influence affecting the collective consciousness to take two steps forward and ten backwards! So this is happening politically, socially, educationally, psychologically… Naturally, it is also happening on a personal level – so whether it’s about self-growth, residence, relationship, work, finances – whatever the current pull – rethink any decision to turn around and re-enter where you know you could experience pain!

DOUBLE LIFE – GEMINI JUPITER/PISCES NEPTUNE

With Jupiter and Neptune currently both in dual signs (Gemini and Pisces respectively), it’s no great surprise that a stream of double-lives have been and are showing up in the media, and in our personal worlds. False dudes like Lance Armstrong are simply the spokespeople – the reflection – the macrocosm – of what is happening in some people’s private worlds. It would be seriously draining (water element Neptune/Pisces – incidentally, both Neptune & Pisces rule drugs) living a big lie (Jupiter/Gemini). Saved  by Saturn’s slow but thorough crawl through Scorpio that is delving into the dark depths (Scorpio), dragging out the real story (Saturn – thanks sister Aquarian Oprah). So look within, look around, check for signs, heed the red lights, listen up for alarm bells – is there a double-life (small or large) happening in your microcosm…?

STALKING EXES! (SCORPIO SATURN SQUARE AQUARIUS MARS)

The Stalking Ex (or SEx) is so not an unusual event, by any stretch of the … um … imagination… but with Scorp Saturn (sexual frustration) squaring Aquarius Mars (group action) right about now, there currently seems to be an influx of these crazed creatures. You know the type, they like to roam in pairs, flicking their self-righteous, hypocritical, two-faced, self-pitying poison wherever they go. These are the keyboard cowards, hiding behind the ‘safety’ of a screen, basking in their denial, unsuccessfully hoping to keep their professional or public face in tact, telling their one-sided story to whoever will listen (yawn!). The passive-aggressive professional victims, the unethical losers, the boundariless bores, the ones who refuse to let go (but profess not to care – yeah right!) – the type who gather in groups, and try to pull recruits, going in for the kill, as their ex-target ends the next relationship. You can almost hear the SEx’s thought process, something like: ‘oh good, here comes another of my ex’s cast-offs – i know, i will pop on my ill-fitting compassionate hat and get another ally for my collection – that will make me RIGHT and the ex WRONG!’ – you gotta laugh at the mentality… Meanwhile, the SEx’s exes come to you with their parallel story of how hideous life was with these tortured souls – but you have enough sense and maturity not to get into the toxic drama or lower yourself to the SEx’s level. Yanno, it doesn’t matter how flat you make a hot cake, it always has two sides, and anyone with any sense would not be sucked in by the Stalking Ex’s sad ways – only maybe another of your scorned exes who can’t look at their own behaviour. Solution: stay strong, know who you are, keep real , and don’t sweat the small stuff – and, remember, the Stalking Ex is suffering in their own stale juices… sending Light…
